TORONTO METS BASEBALL PROGRAM
FEBRUARY | ALUMNI OF THE MONTH
The first month of college baseball is officially in the books. The Toronto Mets continue to be well represented south of the border in a number of States across the United States. Each month we will recognize the Alumni player who performs the best on the field.
The Alumni for the month of February is Shippensburg University sophomore outfielder Tony Vavaroutsos. Vavy had a monster month for the Raiders going 16-41 for a .390 batting average. He blasted five home runs and drove in 14 RBI's. He added five walks and was hit by a pitch four times to go along with a stolen base.
