Lascelles, Powell and Russell Named to JNT

Toronto Mets SS Elliot Lascelles (2026 - Yale), RHP 2026 Noah Powell (2026 - Missouri State) and  RHP Keegan Russell (2025 - West Virginia) have been named by Baseball Canada to the Junior National Team roster for it’s annual Extended Spring Training Camp which will run from April 16-April 24.  

During the course of the trip the JNT will play six games against Major League Baseball organizations including the New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Pirates, Philadelphia Phillies, and Toronto Blue Jays.

This will be Powell's first trip with the Junior National Team, Lascelles' second and it will be Russell's fourth.
